South West Firefighter of the Year  – 23^rd May 2026 (All Day)

The regional heats of a National competition. Locally over 100 competitors are expected to take part in a “Gladiators/It’s a knockout” style competition to test the fitness and skills of operational and retired firefighters. It is designed to raise money for local and national charities and to date has been running for over 9 years.

Please note: the event will take place mainly in Mariners Square – no admission fee for spectators
