Gloucester Quays Christmas Markets and Ice Rink
The Christmas Market and Ice Rink will be returning to Gloucester Docks throughout November and December.
Open Air Ice Rink
The Ice Rink will be located in Orchard Square, following the same layout as last year with seating, lighting, food and drink offers surrounding the rink. Open to the public from 9.45am on weekends and 11.45am on weekdays, with all sessions finishing before 8pm from 24th November 2022 – 2nd January 2023, with exception to Christmas day.
The ice rink build will begin on Monday 31st October, taking approximately 3 weeks to building and will be taken down from the 3rd January, taking approximately 2 weeks to be removed from site.
Christmas Market
The market will be located in front of Southgate Street Car Park as well as Mariners and Albion Square, consisting of locally sourced food, drink and gift offerings. The market will be open to the public every Saturday and Sunday from 5th November until 18th December, trading from 10am – 7pm on Saturdays and 5pm on Sundays.
The individual stalls will be built from 8am on Thursday 3rd November, staying in place for the duration until the takedown on 18th and 19th December. The stalls located in Albion Square will be removed by 7pm at the end of every Sunday market.

Extra security staff will be on site through and can be reached at the Gloucester Quays control room on 01452 338903.
Road Closures
There will be road closures in place on Llanthony road and Merchants Road on each day of the event between 9am – 7pm.
