Gloucester Armed Forces Day

Armed Forces Day will be taking place, to honour and thanks our Armed Forces for their dedication to duty and their sacrifices and service to the Country.
The timeline should be as follows:
• 08:00 onwards a Family Day will be set up at Gloucester Docks Estate with various military vehicles, stalls and exhibits. These will run from the main entrance square, down the “runway” towards and outside the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum. These are all aimed at highlighting our armed forces and all of the various organisations and charities that support them and enable them to do what they do. There will be family entertainment and music outside the Museum
• 12:10 A parade will form up at Gloucester Cathedral
• 12:20 The parade will be blessed by the Dean of Gloucester Cathedral
• 12:30 The parade will leave Gloucester Cathedral and head to the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum at Gloucester Docks (there will be brief road closures to allow this en-route
• 18:00 the event will close and all participants will leave the site
