Gloucester City Improvements Scheme Southgate

This is an important update on the upcoming works scheduled for the Gloucester Docks area.
Following a review of feedback from the local community, we have revised our traffic management plan to minimise disruption. Please note that the previously communicated full road closure has been cancelled.
Instead, the works will now be delivered using a three-way temporary traffic light system. These works are scheduled to begin the week commencing Monday, 6th October 2025, and the temporary lights will be in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for the duration of this phase.

A diagram is included below to illustrate the positioning of the traffic lights. We advise you to allow extra time for your journeys during this period.
Southgate Moorings car park closure is still going ahead as planned on 13th October 2025.
